(Written in a whim when I was feeling passionate about having fun)
The meaning of life is play.
We live in a world where we are constantly told to grow up, take things seriously, be nonchalant, stop trying so hard. What an elitist mindset! Have fun. Play. Wonder. Be curious. Try everything. Be yourself. Freeing your inner child is the cure.
Enjoying our hobbies has become the counterculture. We're all living a capitalistic, fascist-ran world where corporations are quick to monetize everything stripping that joh and whimsy away from what is supposed to be enjoyable but has grown into a parasol need for a sense of belonging: time to start taking that back before this becomes the new fad. Be chalant, whimsy, joyful, starting enjoying your hobbies not because it's the new trend but because you actually want to play. We live in an anger inducing, doomed time when enjoying your hobbies might even feel like a privilege, but you have to be invigorated to fight fascism.
Whenever you try to find the fun in life, everything will flow so much better. Laugh more. Find the funny part about something going wrong. I love the idea of finding the whimsical parts in everyday life.
