Brainrot

Brainrot is caused because the content that we engage with is too easy for our brain. It is mostly entertainment-based content. You are continuing to look through your algorithm to find glimmers of content that is interesting and that actually engages your brain. It's exhausting to look at stuff that is nice, but also not actually what you truly like. The fact that in a twenty-minute infinite scrolling session a few videos can pop up that are actually spot-on for you makes it addicting. These are the videos that you save for later. We keep scrolling because we are looking for the next dopamine of finding something that truly matches your interests, your humor or the depth that you are eager to find.
